    Peace

When a Brother of mine sent this picture, he asked what I’d caption it. It wasn’t till the next day thoughts and feelings of Peace flooded my heart. The picture instantly came to mind.  It started with the picture giving a kind of representation of  “Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.” (Psalm 124:7) in my heart. Once in a while in prison, we have unexpected celebrations. Thats the only time you see the kitchen warders sharing packages of packed foods to prisoners and this only happens, when a generous celebrant from town  has sent in food to the prisoners.  But this faithful day, I was caught unaware as I woke up late, having prayed all night and God had said He will show me the hatred of three years I was nursing. Awaking to the aroma, from my portion of the jollof rice with peppered chicken which Jeff my friend had kept for me.  smiling as i saw it, I could not resist eating at first…

    You Are Nursing Hatred!

You are nursing HATRED in your heart. #PrerequisiteforDivineFulfillment Just after Pastor Nath left. I sat alone troubled as several questions raced through my heart.  “Why is God awakening me to a nine years old promise? Why did the prophecy come to me that early at age seventeen, if after nine years, it has to be awakened again to see fulfillment? and If God has decided to awaken  this promise as Pastor Nath has said, what am I to do to see it’s manifestation? “What o Lord ?” I asked  as I began to search my bible for instructions. Fortunately, I got to the first verse of the seventh chapter of…

Prophecy: And many shall bow to you!

Prophecy (And many shall bow to you) #AwakeningOldPromises. “Brother Joseph, please wait behind to see me.” Those were Pastor Nath’s words to me just after  we concluded the monthly prison fellowship which he anchored. Pastor Nath, was remarkably a true man of God. He had given over  30years of his life to Prison ministry; reaching out to the various kinds of men and women like me in prisons. His mission had always been to not leave them hopeless but to take to them the message of hope; eternal freedom from sin and pain procured for them by Christ Jesus. It has been two years now since I first met him.…
